This Cookie & Analytics Notice explains how BiteBuddy / Whitespace Studio LLP uses cookies and similar technologies on business.bitebuddy.ca.

It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

We currently do not use marketing or advertising pixels (such as Google Ads remarketing or Meta Pixel) on the Business website. If that changes, we will update this Notice.

2. Types of Technologies We Use

These are needed for security, routing, form functionality, preference storage, or other basic website operation. Essential technologies are always allowed.

Analytics technologies

Analytics technologies help us understand how the website is used and how well it performs. They are optional where we apply a consent-based model.

We do not currently maintain a separate marketing-cookie category.

3. Analytics Currently in Use

Vercel Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to measure aggregated website traffic and usage patterns on our hosting platform.

Vercel Speed Insights

We use Vercel Speed Insights to measure website performance metrics that help us improve page experience.

These tools may collect information such as pages viewed, referring sources, device/browser characteristics, approximate location, and performance timing data. They are provided by our website host and may process information outside Canada, including in the United States.

4. Google Analytics 4

We may also use Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) for website measurement. When GA4 is enabled, our intended configuration is:

• website measurement only;
• user-level event-data retention of up to 14 months;
• Google Signals off;
• ads personalization off;
• Google Ads remarketing off;
• no User-ID feature;
• no email addresses, phone numbers, customer names, or other directly identifying information sent to GA4; and
• internal staff traffic filtered where practicable.

Google states that GA4 does not log or store IP addresses, and provides privacy controls for Signals, advertising personalization, and data retention. (Google Support; Google Support)

5. Your Choices

Essential technologies remain active so the website can function.

Where a cookie or analytics preference control is available on the website, you can choose to accept analytics or continue with essential technologies only. You can also change or withdraw an analytics preference later through that control.

You may also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect website features.

6. Retention

• Essential preference cookies: only as long as needed for the preference or session.
• Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights: according to Vercel’s product retention practices for the applicable project.
• GA4 user-level event data: up to 14 months under our intended configuration.
